The National City Chamber Foundation is excited to partner with the San Diego Green Building Council, Center for Sustainable Energy, and 4Walls International to launch the inaugural Binational Sustainability Conference on December 2-3, 2020.

The Binational Sustainability Conference is a cross collaborative educational and policy oriented 2-day event that will convene regional and cross-border stakeholders from the West Coast and Baja California, Mexico. This conference is open to all academics, policy makers, business leaders, and community members interested in participating in binational sustainability efforts. Part 1 of the conference will be held in San Diego, CA at Broadway Pier on December 2, 2020. Part 2 of the conference will be held at the Quartz Hotel in Tijuana, MX on December 3, 2020.

 

The Binational Sustainability Conference was created to accomplish the following:

 

• Contribute to Global Climate Change Adaptation planning

• Protect and Restore Water Resources & Ecosystems

• Promote Food Security and Regenerative Farming

• Explore Effective Material Resource Management

• Foster Innovation and creation of Green Jobs on both sides of the border

• Promote Binational Collaborative Policy
