San Diego Blood Bank issues call for recovered COVID-19 patients to donate plasma. While COVID-19 has no proven treatment, plasma taken from those who have recovered may help patients currently fighting virus. This is because the plasma has developed antibodies against the virus. Donate HERE.

County officials have also strongly recommended cloth face coverings for the general public, but there is no legal mandate for the general public at this time. It is important to note that cloth face coverings are distinct and different from medical masks; they are not medical grade.

Executive Order N-33-20
On March 19, 2020, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-33-20 directing all residents immediately to heed current State public health directives to stay home, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure sectors and additional sectors as the State Public Health Officer may designate as critical to protect health and well-being of all Californians.

Tax Updates Federal
As of Tuesday March 17,2020, the U.S. Treasury and IRS announced that individual taxpayers can delay paying income taxes on as much as $1 million in taxes owed and Corporate taxpayers on as much as $10 million in taxes owed up to 90 days, to July 15, 2020. This is a reprieve for 2019 taxes.The Due Date for the 1st installment on 2020 estimated taxes is moved to July 15, 2020. We are awaiting confirmation on the due date of 2nd installment generally due June 15.The Due Date for tax returns of Individual and Corporate Taxpayers has been moved 90 days as well to July 15, 2020
California Tax Updates
Taxpayers with tax filings between March 15, 2020 through June 15, 2020 have been granted an extension to file 2019 California tax returns and make certain payments to June 15, 2020.
