ACADEMY OVERVIEW
RISE San Diego facilitated nine training sessions ranging in length from two to five hours each on the topics of: Time Management, Leadership, Talent Development, HR Management , Marketing & Public Relations, Budget and Finance, Access to Capital, Social Enterprise and Business Plans. Participants engaged in small-group brainstorming sessions as well as large-group presentation to discuss practical application of skills learned. RISE San Diego and the National City Chamber of Commerce partnered to guide business entrepreneurs through the journey of growing into a larger, sustainable, profitable, and civically-engaged business. The new Business Empowerment Academy launched at an opportune time to capacitate local business owners to strategically prepare for growth and expansion.
